Google raised it to $15.99/month in April. That's $192 a year to watch videos without interruptions on your TV.
SmartTube does it free, and 30,000 developers have starred the repo.
It's a complete YouTube replacement for Android TV, Fire TV, NVIDIA Shield, and Chromecast with Google TV:
→ Zero ads built into the architecture, not blocked, simply never loaded
→ SponsorBlock integration skips the in-video sponsorships Premium can't touch
→ 8K resolution, HDR, 60fps
→ Speed controls, custom buttons, live chat
→ Sign in with your account or use it with none at all
→ Built-in updater, so you install once
The catch: it's TV-only. Phones aren't supported. For your phone, the community points to NewPipe or ReVanced instead.
