Kudu is an open source cleaning system and privacy protection tool for Windows, macOS and Linux.

deletes temporary files, browser cache, and residual data from applications that you have already deleted. It also includes malware scanning, disk analysis, auto-startup program management, secure file deletion, and privacy settings.

what is the difference from the usual commercial cleaning utilities?: Kudu is open source, ad-free, and without telemetry. He doesn't sell your data to "clean" your PC.

Quote:Why Kudu?

Most system cleaners are closed-source, ad-filled, and want your money. Some are barely disguised malware themselves.
Kudu is 100% free, open-source, and transparent. No ads, no upsells, no telemetry. You can read every line of code, audit every scan, and verify every delete. Built by developers who were tired of recommending CCleaner with a straight face.

The program is very interesting. I am curious about the opinions of users who use it and whether it meets their expectations when using it.

Kudu seemed reliable to me, but it's heavy given some of its features that other programs don't have (such as malware scanning using different engines). It's up to you to see if these functions seem useful to you.

It may need more attention especially if you have made changes to your system that suit you.

Each of the aforementioned software finds some elements to remove that the others do not offer.
For my part, I launch the first three from time to time.

I forgot to mention this one. I use it before making an image (regularly).
