Most people use Proton Mail for encryption.

But they ignore its most powerful features.

Here are 10 you should be using already (with quick steps)

1. Password-locked emails

Send encrypted emails that require a password to open.

How:

• Compose → click ?
• Set password + expiry

Works even outside Proton.

2. Hide-my-email aliases

Disposable email addresses that protect your real inbox.

How:

• Security center → Create alias

Less spam. More privacy.

3. Snooze emails

Temporarily hide emails and bring them back later.

How:

• Open email → ⏰ → pick time

Keeps your inbox focused.

4. Undo send

Delay sending so you can cancel mistakes.

How:

• Settings → Messages & composing
• Enable Undo send

Fix errors before they go out.

5. Schedule send

Send emails automatically at a chosen time.

How:

• Compose → ⌄ next to Send
• Select time

Great for timing emails perfectly.

6. Attachment reminder

Detects when you forgot to attach a file.

How:

• Works automatically

Prevents embarrassing follow-ups.

7. Newsletter view

Auto-groups all subscriptions in one place.

How:

• Sidebar → Views → Newsletters

Clean up your inbox faster.

8. PhishGuard protection

Warns you before opening suspicious links or emails.

How:

• Enabled by default
• Settings → Privacy → Confirm links

Extra layer of security.

9. Labels + filters

Automatically organize emails using rules and tags.

How:

• Settings → Filters → Add rule

Inbox automation made easy.

10. Tracker blocking

Stops senders from tracking when you open emails.

How:

• Settings → Email privacy
• Enable tracking protection

Keeps your activity private.

Proton Mail isn’t just “secure email”.

It’s a full productivity + privacy system.

Most people use maybe 20% of it.

Which one are you trying first?
